Well, it was always going to happen at some point…

Some grumbling in the East Stand about team selection, and (very small) pockets of booing at full time. Seriously people, what do you want?

In reality, it was just one of those afternoons where we never really got going. Let’s learn from it, and move on…

A deserved win for Birmingham City, on a damp afternoon at St. Andrew’s…

A first game in almost three weeks, and it was good to be back, even if i did get soaked on the way up from New Street…

Pre-Match: Outside a Damp St. Andrews…

I must have struggled to get my bearings on the ticketing website because I ended up with a ticket in the Main Stand. A proper old fashioned stand it is too, and I think I was possibly the youngest person in it (lots of flasks on display). Fortunately I’d picked a seat further forward than the requisite pillars so had an uninterrupted view of the pitch…

First Half: Birmingham City Attack…

Not a bad game, with Birmingham being worthy winners, although Blackburn could have pinched something right up until the end…

No rain on the way back into the city centre,  and on the train for the forty minute journey home by 17:52. I could get used to these short trips…

Not a short one next weekend though, Gateshead International Stadium…
