Newcastle United 1 Fulham 3

St. James’ Park… Saturday March 11th… 3pm

Attendance: 51,903

Ticket: £35– Programme: £3

Not a great day in all honesty. We were poor, very poor. Although credit must be given to to Fulham, they’re a good side, their passing game was impressive, and they took their goals well…

First Half: Fulham on the Attack…

What wasn’t as impressive, was the persistent whinging and occasional booing from a small, but vocal, section of our support. This is Newcastle United for Christ’s sake, do they seriously expect us to win every week…?

They also appear to make up a large percentage of the characters who arrive after kick off, nip off on forty minutes for a pint, come back for the second half late, then leave before the end. To be honest, I’m not sure why some of them bother at all. Their sense of entitlement is staggering…

Anyway, let’s not dwell on it, forward to St. Andrew’s…
