Not a game that will live long in the memory, but with Brighton and Huddersfield both losing, we ended the weekend another point closer to our aim…

Were it not for Matt Ritchie having a goal ruled out (incorrectly) for offside, then it would have been three…

Not a great day in all honesty. We were poor, very poor. Although credit must be given to to Fulham, they’re a good side, their passing game was impressive, and they took their goals well…

newcastle v fulham...

First Half: Fulham on the Attack…

What wasn’t as impressive, was the persistent whinging and occasional booing from a small, but vocal, section of our support. This is Newcastle United for Christ’s sake, do they seriously expect us to win every week…?

They also appear to make up a large percentage of the characters who arrive after kick off, nip off on forty minutes for a pint, come back for the second half late, then leave before the end. To be honest, I’m not sure why some of them bother at all. Their sense of entitlement is staggering…

Anyway, let’s not dwell on it, forward to St. Andrew’s…
