Wolverhampton Wanderers 0 Swansea City 4

Molineux… Saturday July 30th… 3pm

My 100th game since the start of the blog at the beginning of 2014/15…

A comfortable win for Swansea, and wishful thinking on my part, I’m hoping that every team in the Championship plays this badly when we come up against them this season…

Nuneaton Town 1 Coventry City 2

A1 Gas Force Arena… Saturday July 9th… 3pm

Attendance: 1,675

Ticket: £10 – Programme: £3

Only six weeks since the end of the season and it’s time for it to start all over again; and a pretty good game to be fair…

nuneaton v coventry...

First Half Action…

Nuneaton should have taken the lead early on through a Joe Ironside effort that quite clearly crossed the line, although not according to the linesman. Coventry gradually took control though, and went in 2-0 up thanks to goals from Devon Kelly-Evans and Ruben Lameiras.

The second half was far better for Nuneaton. Reece Charles-Cook saved well from Dean Whitehouse, before  a late Luke Shorthouse goal made the final score a respectable 2-1…
