13.03.2016… Villa v Spurs…

Aston Villa 0  Tottenham Hotspur 2

Villa Park… Sunday March 13th… 4pm

Attendance: 32,393

Ticket: £42 – Programme: £3.50

Another Premier League game as a neutral, well as neutral as I can be when Villa are involved. A Sunday morning trip to Birmingham, Anomalisa (good but bleak) followed by the football (similar from a Villa perspective)…

Pre-Match: The Approach to Villa Park…

Anyway, an easy victory for Spurs against a Villa side that appear to have already accepted their fate. Two goals from Harry Kane did the trick, one either side of half-time, and made for a very comfortable afternoon…

First Half Action: Spurs Mount an Attack…

The opposition may not have been up to much but Spurs certainly impressed, a perfect example of the standards we should expect from Newcastle. There’s absolutely no reason why we shouldn’t be able to compete with the Tottenham Hotspur’s of the league. Deep breaths, I’m displaying those unrealistic expectations again…
